Cheering at a literary event! I’m attending vicariously through you, Paula, and loving it. Please blog a tiny mention if you happen to bump into any Jasper Fforde related material – my literary Welsh hero 🙂

You’re right there, Karen. The tent was packed to capacity. We waited in the Friends’ line for an hour before the event (glad we did because she walked right in front of us with her Handmaidens) and we were rewarded with central seats on row three. Perfect! I see her again tonight. 🤩

Whoever came up with the idea of having her enter surrounded by handmaidens was a genius……
I’m hoping I can get there on Friday – will you still be there?

Sad to say, this is my last full day – heading home tomorrow. The Handmaids were an idea of genius. Also quite unsettling. They were in town yesterday morning and created quite a spectacle!

Thank you, Sarah. Yes, I spotted a very cleverly made wedding dress when passing the BRC shop yesterday. I must pop in and have a proper look.
