Since it could be up to six weeks before our official photographs are ready, and as I had promised to post pictures of our Moomin-themed wedding this week, here is a small selection taken by friends and family on the day:

Thank you, Kaggsy. We had the ceremony in a grand old building belonging to the council – it isn’t open to the public but has lovely stained glass windows. We moved on to our local for the knees up afterwards (took over their entire top floor). 😁

Thank you, Anne. Most of our Moomin paraphernalia has gone to new homes. Snorkmaiden now lives in a friend’s porch (looking out through a window) in St Helens. Everybody wanted a Moomin lamp. We have just two left! 😂

Thank you, Lory. We live on a marina, so it’s wall-to-wall boats around here. There was also a bit of a nautical theme running alongside the Moomin stuff. We had matching nautical rope rings made from gold that had once belonged to various loved-ones (plus our old CP rings). 🛟💐
