Look forward to joining in this month!
Marvellous! Hope you have a great Dewithon, Cathy! 😊👍
This is my first time joining in. I’m looking forward to it!
Welcome, Margaret. I’m so pleased you will be joining us. 😊
Looking forward to joining in for the first time!
Hope the challenge goes well! I don’t appear to have any Welsh authors TBR, sadly, and I’m being super-careful about keeping to books I already have for challenges this year. If anyone spots any on my shelves, please shout!
Quite understand, Liz. Thanks for taking the time to let me know. 😊👍
Good news: somehow I found myself “needing” to order a book from a Bad Place to get fast delivery on one I needed in a hurry, and I chose “Welsh: Plural” so I’ll read one after all!
Hooray! 😀👍
Here’s my first one, half-way through the second so hoping I can get it done and reviewed in time! https://librofulltime.wordpress.com/2024/03/25/book-review-darren-chetty-grug-muse-hanan-issa-and-iestyn-tyne-eds-welsh-plural/
Don’t worry if you miss the Dewithon deadline, it will still count. I have linked to your Welsh (Plural) post above. Thank you so much, Liz. 😀👍
And my second one! I really enjoyed Horatio Clare’s “Down to the Sea in Ships” read for #ReadingWales24 https://librofulltime.wordpress.com/2024/03/28/book-review-horatio-clare-down-to-the-sea-in-ships/
Thank you, Liz! 😊👍
I’ve pulled my book from the stack. But I bet it still takes me a ridiculous amount of time to work it into daily reading rotation. Some might say there are too many books on my mind right now, but they’re all so good!
That’s excellent news, Marcie. Hope it’s a goodun! 😀👍
Here’s one from Staircase Wit! The Birthday Girl by Sarah Ward -http://perfectretort.blogspot.com/2024/03/the-birthday-girl-by-sarah-ward-reading.html
Constance
Brill! Thank you so much, Constance. I have added it to this page. 😊👍
Are there any Welsh author writing lite, fun, books? I can’t cope with either of the dark books I chose–I’d love a gal pal book or women’s fiction for this year.
My first post from a Dylan Thomas BBC audio collection I’m slowly listening to – https://bronasbooks.com/2024/03/13/the-bbc-radion-collection-dylan-thomas-1/
This really is a super review, Brona. I have linked to it (above) and left you a brief message on the post. 😀👍
I reviewed The Green Hollow by Owen Sheers!

Many thanks, Cathy. I’ve linked to it (above). 😀👍
I just scraped in by the skin of my teeth, Paula 🏃♀️ Great links!
And thank you so much for doing so, Gretchen. A splendid post with such warm words. Very much appreciated, I can tell you. 😀👍
I read I let You Go, by Clare Mackintosh, which I wrote about in this post –
https://booksplease.org/2024/03/30/reading-wales-2024-2/
and also Maiden Voyages by Siân Evans, a Welsh historian, which I’ll write about later. I only finished it yesterday.
